From targeted research to (inter)national cooperation. The Centre for Cultural Studies at the University of Graz introduces itself.

The Centre for Cultural Studies

The most important goals are

  • the conception and implementation of inter- and transdisciplinary research projects;
  • the elaboration of scientific-theoretical questions on interdisciplinarity;
  • the development of new forms of inter- and transdisciplinary basic and cultural research with the aim of bringing together different scientific disciplines;
  • opening up and enabling space for inter- and transdisciplinary projects with cooperation partners and national and international researchers;
  • the development of projects that can be subsumed under DIGITAL HUMANITIES;
  • the promotion of young researchers;
  • the organization of international conferences and workshops.

 

The Centre serves inter- and transdisciplinary research in literary and cultural studies at the University of Graz and at the Graz location. There is a lively exchange with various internal and external institutions. The following cooperations are currently active through events, projects and publications:
